Looking for an experience that combines exciting travel with learning new skills and supporting a community initiative?nLook no further. Adventures in Preservation offers you a compelling volunteer experience working with a host community to create positive outcomes.

Volunteer art conservation fresco work in Serravalle ItalyWhether you love history and architecture; enjoy exploring a new location; or can’t wait to learn and share new skills, AiP preservation vacations allow you to make an impact. You will provide much-needed help by joining a group of international volunteers and community members in saving a valuable piece of their architectural heritage.

As an AiP volunteer, you are part of the change powered by preservation. Whether providing affordable housing, supporting heritage tourism, or helping to create new jobs in historic building maintenance, your actions help a community build a sustainable future.

Our projects benefit the volunteer, the historic site, and the host community. Your newly learned building conservation skills will be put to use to support an environmentally and economically sustainable project initiated by the community itself.
