AiP has recently embarked on an ambitious plan to grow the organization and enhance our effectiveness. With 36 projects in 7 countries under our belt, we know there is a lot more we can be doing to safeguard cultural heritage, foster community sustainability and provide outstanding travel experiences. But we can’t do it alone. We need a few more people on our Board of Directors working to fulfill our potential.
We are therefore actively recruiting new Board members who can offer the key skills needed to manage and grow the organization. Expertise we need include:
- Business development
- Outreach to university programs and professional organizations
- Legal knowledge
- Grant writing
- Building corporate sponsorships
AiP, based in Boulder, Colorado, operates on a virtual basis, with Board members scattered across the country and indeed the world. Board meetings are held monthly via conference call and each member is expected to work diligently on behalf of the organization for the duration of their term of service.
